  • use cases – their documentation, their role in curation
  • wayfinding in the context of virtual environments
  • research data literacy at the graduate-student level

In addition, one of my ongoing research activities is “Observations on Scholarly Engagement with Hidden Special Collections and Archives,” a project being carried out by a team of former and current CLIR postdoctoral fellows. We are exploring how special collections and archives that have been awarded funding under the Cataloging Hidden Special Collections and Archives grant program, administered by CLIR, are increasing their outreach and programming activities and thus broadening possibilities for user engagement, mainly as an outcome of dedicated cataloging and processing of these materials.
